"Working with Spear Electrical during our Mitutoyo UK Headquarter refurbishment project was a real pleasure - especially with our extremely tight working timeframe! From our initial contact with Tony, we received an extremely positive and professional service and we were able to meet the team, undertake a site visit, confirm job specification and commence site works in a period of three working days!

Throughout the entire project, Spear’s on-site electricians were extremely helpful and flexible to our requirements, meaning that good working relationships were built with our on-site crew and the end users.  In addition, continued support from Tony, Chris and Brian back at the office meant there was always an answer to our questions, and a solution for our requirements. As a result, we were able to achieve a sleek, modern, energy efficient and welcoming demonstration and training facility in time for Mitutoyo’s 30th Anniversary.

 “After several very disappointing experiences with other Electrical Companies, I was led to Spear Electrical through the Building Management Company, Keir Building Services.

Our project with Spear Electrical was to completely reconfigure the power supplied to our communications room, and to have a separate feed entering the communications room from our “trading floor”. We did have a history of switches tripping and air conditioning failing randomly which affected our business as Reed and MacKay are a 24 hour operation.

Since the completion of the project we have had zero issues with our communications room and I will have no hesitation in using Spear Electrical again when we move offices in 2010.

In recommending Spear Electrical the project managers [Chris and Brian] are friendly, approachable and informative about costing, solutions, and recommendations, as well as being very punctual and thorough throughout the project. It also helped they were competitive.

We’re here when you need us

"Our first major introduction to Spear Electrical was in September when we had a total power failure in the building.

The total loss of power was a major catastrophe for us as we are the headquarters for Compuware Europe. All communications were lost and all the servers went down leaving us in the middle of a potential disaster.

Our maintenance provider called in Spear, and from that moment on they took control, handling the situation in a very professional, confident manner.

Chris and Brian, who head up Spear, made Compuware feel confident that this company could help us out of this potentially disastrous situation.

We lost power on a Friday night and by Sunday morning we had power restored via a generator. They worked all weekend restoring power and making the building safe for staff to return on the Monday morning.

The whole restoration of power via the national grid took a few weeks, but it was not just the short time this took to source new equipment and have the old equipment repaired, but it was their company’s professionalism that shone through, coupled with their willingness and professionalism to do anything in their power to help us out at this very trying time, that was refreshing.
